A couple of years ago a friend of mine said he was heading home from the pub and after I jeered at him, saying “c’mon stay for one more,” he replied with the phrase “Let’s not steal from tomorrow.” I laughed it off at the time but in the next few paragraphs I’ll explain how by simply stealing from tomorrow I might be depleting a lot more than just a couple strokes in a round of golf.
I travel a lot. Whether it was for competitive golf as a teenager or performing both interstate and overseas, I’ve been traveling pretty consistently since the age of 17. In the past 3 weeks I was at home in NY then went to LA, Austin, Paris, back to NY, Mexico City, Las Vegas and am now on my to Carlsbad. Needless to say I’m a little tired. I know what you’re thinking; cry me a river Cam. Do not get me wrong, I’m extremely grateful for the ability to travel for work but one of the unfortunate byproducts of my chosen profession is the inevitable interruption of a consistent sleep schedule.
